Fedora 19 vesa driver


















 · Hi, as you will recognize immediately from the question, I'm new to Fedora. On my netbook (not the PC, see my signature at the bottom of the post) the vesa driver is loaded according to "Xorglog". It uses a x resolution on an unknown display instead of the x of the existing display. Thus everything is stretched.  · Searching a bit, it looks like other folks have the Radeon working with Fedora 32; so I’m not sure what went wrong for me. I had to use the “basic graphics” install because the normal one didn’t work at all. just starting using a fresh install of Fedora 32 and getting to learn Linux on a new Dell Latitude laptop but my external monitor is not detected (connected with HDMI, also tried with Diplayport over USB Type-C), planning to use two monitors. I have Intel® UHD Graphics , using Xfce and kernel fcx86_64, also tried kernel. But I can’t able to change the display resolution from the previously set configuration. In another laptop with intel cpu (integrated graphics), I can able to change the resolution. Is there any way to solve this problem? The pc having this problem is a thinkpad E14 gen3 (amd).
